T5W – Favorite Fancast

Hi guys, this is my first ever Top 5 Wednesday. I’ve been seeing this weekly challenge not only here but also on Goodreads and decided I must join. It looks fun and it is. You guys can check it out on Goodreads.

So this week’s topic is *insert drum rollFavorite Fancasts which simply choosing or discussing my preferred cast to play as my favorite book characters. I found this a little hard. Why? Simply because I was tempted to choose JUST FIVE GUYS to play the roles of my book boyfriends but I succeed for not letting my insanity wins. LOL 🙂

Okay so here are my choices:

1. Carswell Thorne from The Lunar Chronicles

I give you Ryan Gosling as Carswell Thorne, Ladies and gentleman. Thorne showed up in the second instalment of TLC, Scarlet, but you can find more of him on the third book, Cress, since Cress is his love interest. Anyway, as a character he is seen as egotistical, flirtatious, always winking and smiling at almost every girl. But he can also be sweet and protective especially to Cress, of course. And I can’t help but to love him and given a chance, steal him. Almost the same of what I would do with Ryan Gosling :). I recently watched Crazy Stupid Love with Gosling in it and thought he could play as Thorne perfectly. Like he was really made to play the role.

And have I mentioned that Thorne was a rogue military who stole a spaceship? Imagine Gosling as a roguish flirt winking at you. *dreamy sigh*

2. Eliza Mirk from Eliza and her monsters

Maisie Williams as Eliza Mirk. Okay for those who have read the book, this fancast might be a surprise. We all see Maisie as Arya Stark, and she’s a complete opposite of Eliza Mirk who is in fact a shy, weird, friendless, introvert girl. Though ELiza is a creator of a very famous webtoon, still she is not Arya Stark. But that’s exactly the reason why I want Maisie to play as Eliza. I want to see her act differently; as an introvert instead of a badass assassin that Arya is.

How awesome would that be? Right?

To those who haven’t read the book, check out my review.

3. Sadie and Carter Kane from Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan

Okay, Carter and Sadie are actually siblings with Carter as older. But I think Emma and Rupert, though we’ve seen them as lovers and friends, would be perfect as siblings too. Sadie like Hermione is a badass girl who knows it all. While Carter, well, I always find Carter acting stupid. Thanks to Sadie they always survive. See how Emma and Rupert fit? 🙂

4. Simon Parker from Wallbanger by Alice Clayton

Oh don’t even ask me why….LOl…Let me swoon first…I really tried looking for a photo of Channing Tatum’s back but couldn’t. Anyway, whatever part of this guy will do… Hahahaha…Okay, Channing as Simon. Simon is a wallbanger who is a nuisance to his neighbor (Caroline, his love interest). I don’t really know how to explain this. LOL 🙂 Forgive me people but I know you get what I’m trying to say here. *GRIN DEVIOUSLY*

5. Daisy Devreaux from Kiss an Angel

Easiest casting for me. Anne Hathaway is perfect as Daisy. Why? Because Anne’s beauty can be angelic and devilish. Her face can be very friendly or snob. And Daisy, although, she is really an angel by nature, her hero, Alex sees her first as snotty and flighty spoiled brat. There are scenes where she was talking to animals and I think Anne’s voice fit perfectly for it. 🙂

Okay guys, I’m so happy doing this. Reallus.y enjoyed it, and looking forward for next Wednesday’s topic. But of course before that, tell me what you think of my choices. If you haven’t read the books and thought that I’ve given some spoiler alerts, I assure you, it’s not my intention. Also, go ahead and still read the book, what I’ve given won’t actually spoil the whole stories.

ENjoy.. 🙂 🙂
