WWW Wednesday #2

This weekly meme is hosted by Sam of Taking on a World of WordsEveryone can participate by posting a link on Sam’s post this week or you can just answer the questions.

#Three questions are to be answered:

1. What are you currently reading?

10194157TITLE: Shadow and Bone (The Grisha Trilogy)

BY: Leigh Bardugo

STATUS: Almost half. I can’t say any opinion yet for it’s still too early to judge it. But anyway, I decided to read this series because I want to read Six of Crows and I was told that it is better to read this prequel trilogy first. I was hesitant at first since all in all it would be five books including SoC Doulogy but somehow I was convinced by almost everyone that it’s worth the time. What do you guys think of these books?

2. What did you recently finish reading?

TITLE: Amber Sky

BY: Claire Warner

Last week, I said I was currently reading I, Eliza Hamilton and that I would read Amber Sky next. Obviously, I already finished reading both. But since the most recent is Amber Sky, let’s talk about it. I looooved it. The plot is promising and I am dying waiting for the next instalment since it’s a part of a series. I only gave it 4 stars because as expected to first books of dystopian series, some things are slow for we are being introduced with new world with different rules and people. But overall, I think this series has a great future.

3. What do you think you’ll read next?

14061955TITLE: Siege and Storm (The Grisha Trilogy)

BY: Leigh Bardugo

Of course this is next. Okay I don’t know what to say about this one. LOL 🙂 By next Wednesday, I might be done reading the whole trilogy especially if I find it good. I just don’t know when to stop devouring good things once I get my hands into them.

Okay, that’s it for this week. How about you guys, what are your answers and what do you think if these books?

I have been reading to read all the Grisha stuff for so long. I actually had Six of Crows from the library at one point, but I got busy and had to return it without finishing it. I was told it can be read as a standalone, but that reading the trilogy is good to have the background. I hope you enjoy either way!
