Happy Saturday guys,
Today, I’m gonna do a tag that I saw from my friend, Priyasha of Books and Co. I really liked it so I decided to try. I mean even us readers do have some, or plenty, of things to confess… Now is the time people… Hahaha. 🙂
*Have you ever damaged a book?
Ahm… yep. No matter how I cherish and treat them as if my life depends on them, I still damage a book. Spilled coffee, spilled tea, water? Crumbs too. Creased due to unexpected fall, or bumps, Name it. Being the clumsy idiot that I am, it’s impossible for me not to damage a book.
*Have you ever damaged a borrowed book?
Nope, because I haven’t borrowed a book ever. Not even from the library. 🙂 🙂 🙂
*How long does it take you to read a book?
Honestly? I can read a full-length novel in three hours. I am just that fast and I don’t usually say this because it sounds like bragging. Because I mean hello? Even I know that three hours is just too fast. But I really can… Longer books, like Stephen king’s books or the Game of thrones, may take five hours. I read fast because I want to know how it ends already. Thinking of it, I haven’t mentioned this ever to a psychologist, I think this quirk of mine has something to do with my many issues. Anyway, that’s why I don’t listen to audio books because they take forever. And that’s why I’m not worried that I still have to read 65 books to finish my Goodreads challenge of 200 books this year.
*Books that you haven’t finished:
I had to DNF this book (the very first book I’ve ever DNFed), not because it was awful but it has some triggering points that I don’t need right now. Ahm, also its plot is a little common, like 50 Shades of Gray, so it felt like I already read it and might affect me, so why keep going right?
*Hyped/Popular Books you didn’t like:
Oh this is easy. *deep agonising sigh* I tried liking this one really because the whole concept of Paper Towns is just amazing and interesting enough but Margo Roth Spiegelman and I would never be friends…
Check out my review here: Paper Towns by John Green
*Is there a book you wouldn’t tell anyone you were reading?
NONE. Even the most erotica novels I read, I am proud to share. And even I am a Christian, a born-again Christian actually, I am not ashamed to tell even my churchmates that I read Erotica.
*Are you a fast reader or a slow reader?
We already settled this above. I’m not comfortable to say it again. 🙂
*Do you like to buddy read?
I haven’t tried it but I want to… Someone wants to buddy read with me? Like next year? Or do you guys know buddy reads clubs or something like that that I can join?
*Do you read better in your head or out loud?
In my head. If I read out loud, someone in the house might smack my head. hahaha. and then they will yell something like ‘Keep your nerdiness to your dorky self!!!!’ Lol…. But sometimes, I love reading aloud books set in England, I love the accent… 🙂
*If you were only allowed to own one book, what would it be and why?
Ugh!!!… This is the hardest question ever… hahaha… THE BIBLE, ladies and gentleman, not only it has countless wisdom in each page, it also has very interesting stories, really…. 🙂
Yehey!!!… Okay, I really enjoyed this tag… Hope you guys too…
I tag everyone who wants to do it…
I am sooooooooo HAPPY that you have done with this tag. You have a amazing blog 😍 … I never Dnf books .
