The Valentine’s Day Book Tag

Happy Heart’s Day guys,

Watercolor-grunge-background-design-02 (2)

Yesterday, I saw this tag from Golden Books Girl and liked it. And since I don’t ahve anything yet to post for this special day, I decided to give this a go. This tag is created by CC’s Books and she’s in youtube guys. 🙂

So here’s the tag…

1. Standalone book you love:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Actually, there are plenty of standalones that I love but this book is kinda special. This made me cry, really cry. Also this one is one of the few books that is perfectly well-written. The author indeed knows what he’s doing. 🙂

2. Dystopian Book You Love

The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins.

For me, this series is one of the best dystopian novels ever written. Though I’m not a fan of the movie adaptations, the books will remain in my Reread shelf forever. 🙂 🙂

3. A Book that You Love but no one else Talks about:

73086Plenty, but since I’m rereading Kiss an Angel, I’ll go with this one. Seriously, I love, love, love Kiss an angel. The MCs are both amazing and stole my heart right from the start. Also most parts of it is set in a circus and it’s amazing. No magic here though except Love. Aww you guys, give this one a chance. And maybe the reason why no one talks about this because it was written way, way back. But don’t judge it by it’s publication date. I love this way more than most books these days, 🙂

4. Favorite Book Couple.

Plenty. Plenty. Plenty. Plenty. So to be safe, I won’t mention even one.

5. Book that Other People Love but you Haven’t Read Yet:

The ACOTAR Series…. The fact that so many people loved it and everyone seemed cannot stop talking about it, is exactly the reason why I haven’t read it yet. You see guys, I’m afraid.

What do I do… *Wailing*

6. A Book with Red on the Cover:

Yep The Lunar Chronicles Series. I’m showing this series a love because summer is nearly approaching her in the Philippines, the time that i plan to reread all my favorite series. 🙂 🙂 🙂

7. A Book with pink on the cover:

Can You Keep A Secret by Sophie Kinsella. Though I am not a fan of this author this book suddenly popped in my head when I read Pink on the cover. 🙂 🙂

8. You were given a box of chocolate, what fictional boyfriend/girlfriend would given them to you:

One fact about me: I’M NOT A FAN OF CHOCOLATES.

So if someone will give it to me, for me to eat it, it should be someone so precious to me and that would be Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows. So yeah… hehe.

*Credit to the owner of the photo. I only got this from google. If you ever see this one, please tell me so I can give you the credit properly. Thank You.

9. You are Single on Valentines Day. What Book would you read? What TV show would you watch? What Movie would you watch?

BOOK: I’m done with Kiss an Angel and I’m off to reading Vampire Academy or Bloodlines. Or Highlander Series. I can’t decide yet.

TV SHOW: I’m currently watching an anime called DURARARA. It features a woman who’s looking for her head. She’s the only reason I’m still watching it because the pace is really slow.

MOVIE: I’m thinking about The Holiday or How To Lose A GUY in 10 Days. Or maybe The Proposal or Love, Rosie. YEp, I have plenty in the Bucket. Will you guys do the choosing for me?

10. You are in the Book Store. All of a Sudden you get shot with an arrow by Cupid. What New Release will you love?

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton.

This one’s already released last Feb 06, and I really want to read it. But I’m on a book buying ban…

This is such a fun tag. And Cute one too. I won’t tag anyone because as you can see this is a seasonal tag. You can do it if you want and can use my logo above. :):)

Happy Heart’s day guys.

  2. Definitely agree with you on The Hunger Games. I really liked the books as well, but the movies not so much. But…that’s the case with a lot of movies that are based on books I guess. Great post! 😀

  3. I loved this! It was soooo fun!

I might be doing it later… And as for the movies, The Holiday is my favorite by far out of the ones you mentioned! But, my classic Valentine’s movie is Ten Things I Hate About you ♥
In case you want to make the decition even harder…

    1. The Holiday is such a really great movie. It was fun and sweet… Ah Jude Law… hehe.. Also the only reaosn why 10things I hate about you isn’t on my list because I just watched it last Christmas. 🙂 🙂 looking forward to your post. 🙂 and Happy hearts Day Zoe.

  4. I could understand being afraid of ACOTAR series because the hype may be harmful, but don’t be afraid, it may not be a perfect series but I think you’ll love it!
I think I’m the same with Six of Crows because despite having copies of the books already, I keep on delaying reading it because I want to savor it in my own time! ^^
