Oh My God, I don’t even know how to start. I’m still overwhelmed with too much emotions.

Maybe let me start by warning everyone that this book contains triggers. FOR REAL. And please understand that this book is preferably for mature readers.

I know, I should’ve run away because of the explicit contents but I’ve been putting this aside for too long already. Besides after just reading two chapters, I was hooked. I was intrigued. The story indeed is so engaging, it was that well-written, people. This is my 48th book read this year and so far the most challenging to read. It made so emotional. I got angry frustrated, annoyed, afraid, teary-eyed, and loved. Thanks to the characters who were portrayed so well. I kinda hate Danny at first, he seemed a little bit too arrogant for me but that made him more realistic and his development was so much better because of that. And Jessica, I love how she affected Danny’s life. They were strong characters and definitely relatable. The things they’ve gone through and faced reminded me what it means to be human. I felt so human, vulnerable to adversaries while reading this book. No kidding. But it also made me hopeful, even though the story kinda shows otherwise, I couldn’t help but feel brave. Maybe because of the love between the characters, it was infectious, heart-wrenching but heartwarming.

This book is one heck of an emotional ride, be sure to have some Kleenex with you, Okay? Again, be warned about the triggers. 🙂 🙂

*I got this book from the publisher thru Netgalley in exchange for an honest review, Thank you.

Happy Reading,
