Happy Wednesday Nerds,
It’s time for another WWW. I actually keep on skipping this meme and I’m feeling guilty now. Hehe. Thsi meme is hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words. If you guys aren’t doing this meme yet, it’s not late to join us. 🙂 All you have to do is answer 3 What-questions and then comment your link on Sam’s latest WWW Post. If you don’t have a blog or anything, just comment your answers. 🙂
#3 Questions are to be answered:
1. What are you currently reading?
TITLE: Rust and Stardust (ARC)
BY: T. Greenwood
STATUS: 10%. Though the expected publication is still 4 months away, I’m starting this now. I’m planning to read it chapter by chapter because I know I can’t read this in one sitting. This book, I expect, is filled with triggers as it’s based on a true crime, a kidnapping of a minor… Ahm I think it will be easy to explain if I just say that Nabokov’s Lolita is based on this true story. Yep, this book is THAT serious but I still want to read it coz I’m intrigued.
2. What did you recently finished?
If you want to read my reviews of these books, click their titles below. I’m still set to review each book I read this year. 🙂
1. Look The Part by Jewel E. Ann
2. Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
3. The Beauty That Remains by Ashley Woodfolk
4. Do You Want To Start A Scandal
5. A SEAL’s Honor by J.M. STewart
6. A SEAL’s Courage by J.M. Stewart
7. Quest of a Warrior by Mary Morgan
8. God Isn’t Finished With Me Yet by Barbara Lee
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
How about you guys, what’s on your TBR next week? Or any good book to recommend from your reads last week?
Let’s chat…
I have Song of Blood and Stone on my shelf right now! I actually forgot it was there, but it looks really interesting so I might get to it soon 😃

I’m curious about Rust & Stardust. It’s advertising itself as “A Novel” but it’s a true story? Or is it that this novel is inspired by the same true crime as Lolita was?
Here’s my post 🙂

It’s inspired by the true crime, yes… I think it’s giving a voice to that of the victim. I think that’s what it says in the synopsis.. Im really not 100 % sure yet. All I know is that it’s about the true crime which Lolita was based. 🙂 I think I’ll know more when Im done reading it. 🙂 🙂

Wow you finished a lot of books!!! I’m soooo jelly. I try to get as much reading as I can, but working full time takes so much of my energy. Once in a while it gets slow at work and I can read, but for the most part it’s almost always busy.
I just got an ARC for Song of Blood and Stone yesterday in the mail! BookMail is the best. The thank you note said I was a bookseller and I was wondering how that happened. I have a copy of my google doc form answers and I did type blogger. Maybe they just send out the same notes to bloggers and booksellers — still so happy and excited I got one!

Aww.. well I hope you find something soon. I’m actually trying to look for another/better job because my work place just has too much drama and some “discrimination.” But, I do like it here. I get to blog and read sometimes. My coworkers (all the ones in the “support team” level) are all really nice. We’re all minorities/filipinos so we rely on each other when we’re annoyed and treated unfairly. Anyway, didn’t mean to vent haha.
Can’t wait to read what you think of Song of Blood and Stone =)
Have a lovely day!!!
XOXO

Ugh, sorry about your workplace, hope you find new one very soon. Drama, I can live with but discrimination, I can’t. But at least you’re finding something positive about it. As for me, I don’t think Id be employed soon. I had to quit my job before so I can properly deal with my depression and Though i’m getting so much better now, I decided to stay at home a little longer so I can work on my book.
Yep, I’m trying to be a published author. *Wish me luck* 🙂 🙂
I’ll be reading SOng of Blood and Stone soon. 🙂 🙂
You too, have a great day. 🙂

Aww that makes me so sad to hear. Depression is not an easy thing to deal with. I’ve been there a few times and it really takes a toll on you. I’m sending you so much love and hugs and positive vibes.
I think it’s great you’re writing a book and trying to be a published author. I also tried writing, but I can never make it pass the first page LOL. I’m too much of a perfectionist to just write and go with the flow. I always go back and edit and edit until I like everything. Then I just get stuck and give up. I think when I find a less stressful job, maybe haha…
But I really hope you feel better soon hun. Just take it day by day. =)
XOXO
