WWW Wednesday #21

Happy Wednesday Nerds,

This meme serves as a weekly wrap-up and TBR for me. Yeah, obviously, I’m that lazy, using a single meme for  both wrap-up and TBR. Sorry. Not Sorry. This meme is hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words and everyone is welcome to join. All you have to do is answer some questions and comment your post links on Sam’s current post. Or if you don’t have a blog, you can just answer the questions in the comments.

#3 Questions are to be answered:

1. What are you currently reading?

As you can see I’m lazier than ever, instead of downloading each cover of the books and type the titles and my reading status, I just printscreened my Goodreads Feed and cropped  it and tada!!! Hahaha… But you can’t deny, it’s brilliant. Less work. More time for reading. 🙂 Anyway, I’m almost done with This Is More by Pstr. Brian. As expected I’m inspired by his words and I find the writing easy to read and understand.
As for the Oddling Prince, I’m a little conflicted but I’m not even halfway, so maybe it will get better. *Fingers Crossed* And Jesus, the Bromance, I’m currently worried. Lol.

2. What did you recently finished?

The Boy from Tomorrow and Rust and Stardust, I received as ARCs and both touched me in their own special way. The Boy from Tomorrow is a story of three kids from two different timelines who somehow found a way to communicate. What  a cute, heartwarming story of friendship. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! While the latter is a fictional account of a True Crime, the kidnapping of Sally Horner in 1948.

The Marvelous Adventure of Gwendolyn Gray is another ARC I got. I don’t know what to say about this book in few words so just wait for my review. A Night to Surrender is a first in a series that I think I will love. Tessa Dare is really an amazing Historical Romance writer.

Click their titles below to see my review:
1.) The Boy From Tomorrow by Camille DeAngelis (4.5/5 Stars)
2.) Rust and Stardust by T. Greenwood (4/5 Stars)
3.) The Marvelous Adventures of Gwendolyn Gray by B.A. Williamson (RTC)
4.) A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare (4/5 Stars)

3.) What do you think you’ll read next?

These ARCs…

You bet I requested these books because of their gorgeous covers. Hopefully the contents somehow are at least OKAY!. I’m lowering my expectations because just like all of you, I’ve learned my lessons with expecting high and then dying with disappointment. Hahaha.

And these…

I’m extremely excited with these books. A book about Witches, another LGBTQIA+, Book 2 of a series with Book 1 I really loved and a mystery recommended to me…

Have you read any of these books, what do you think of them? Or are they on your TBR too?

Let’s chat below.

Happy Reading and have a great week guys.

    1. Yay!!!.. Hope you get to love The Boy From Tomorrow as much as I did. 🙂 🙂 Whenever I see a new book on internet, or online friends suggested something to me, I literally go to Goodreads right away. And list it on my TBR, 🙂 🙂

  1. I’m rereading the fourth, Harry Potter book so I can interchange it with Map of Shadows while I workout on the elliptical. I have The Midnight Rose on my nightstand that I need to get back to. The fuse that powers the lights for our three bedrooms, hallway, and two bathrooms has been out and we’ve been trying to get an electrician out to fix it. So I haven’t been reading in bed before I go to sleep and have been knitting in the car instead during pick up.

    1. Life happens. lol. Goodluck with all these stressing stuffs. And I hope you get into more reading this week. Maybe some smaller book so you finish it faster.

Youre rereading HP? I’m scheduled to reread them on JUne. It became my tradition to reread them every year. Hope your enjoying your reread. 🙂

    1. Yeah, same here. I still buy books with great covers. I love to display them on my shelf but I don’t read them all. lol. just the ones with good reviews. it’s not practical to waste our time when there are many good books out there we can read. 🙂

    1. Hello.. thank you for stopping by…
Oddling king is okay, I rated it 3 stars on Goodreads but that’s not final. I might change my mind when I write the review. I can say that it’s not a bad book but not that great as well. Review soon. 🙂 🙂

Olympian Challenger is next I think. I’m just not sure when exactly because i’m busy writing but its my next read. How about you?

      1. Really? His character was the one I was mostly looking forward to! I guess I won’t get the book until I see the overall reaction it gets. Right now I’m reading Wonder Woman, I have a few other ARCs to finish before I can get to Olympian Challenger.

        1. In the end, I only rated The Oddling .. 2.5 stars.. i think the book isn’t just for me. The more I think of it, the more I dislike it. lol.. Hope you enjoy it more than I did. I already posted the review by the way…

Turns out Im not reading Olympian challenger yet, A friend lent me her copy of ‘sky in the deep’ so maybe I’ll read that one first. 🙂

How’s Wonder Woman? It’s in my TBR too…

          1. I finished Wonder Woman a few days ago and it honestly wasn’t as great as I thought it might be. The message of the book is phenomenal and it was really creative. But the overall vibe wasn’t really helping.

  2. Seems like you have gotten yourself some great books to read! Also, some of the books you have already read sound so good, especially The Boy from Tomorrow! I hope you enjoy being indecisive with your next read. Also, don’t worry about being lazy because I am the definition of lazy. Yesterday, I was supposed to write because it was finals week last week. I was not able to do really anything except die in submission to stress and excessive worrying about whether or not I would still be alive at the end of it all. Instead, I slept and ate cake. 🙂 Have a great day reading or doing whatever!

    1. When is being indecisive enjoyable? hahaha..

Seriously, school is wearing you out. But at leats it’s giving you valid reason to sleep and eat a cake. 🙂 While i, as an adult, is expected to make a freaking money… Ugh..
