24 Hour Readathon [June 2018] – Wrap Up

Hi Book Dragons,

YES!!! Noriko and I just finished another Readathon and needless to say, we enjoyed it a lot. It’s great to set a whole day just to tackle our TBRs. Personally, I can say it’s very fulfilling. Though I only read three books this time and not my usual four, still I enjoyed the experience.

♥♥♥♥My Accomplishments♥♥♥♥

Total Books : 3 Books
Total Pages  : 998 pages  (Not bad eh, 🙂 🙂 )
Total Update Post : 5 (including this one)
Total reviews Published  : One

And a lot of Goodreads and Twitter Updates….
And a lot of caffeine.
And a lot of tears…

♥♥♥♥Books I Finished♥♥♥♥

1. Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde (3.5/5 stars)

Pages: 262

I adore this book and really spoke to me. Here’s my review if you wanna check it out. 🙂

2. Olympian Challenger by Astrid Arditi (2.5/5 stars)

Pages: 348

I’ll be posting a VERY LONG RANTY REVIEW this week for this book. This is actually an ARC and I can understand why other people loved this book, it is just not for me. Sorry. I messaged the Publisher and author thru Netgalley that I won’t be posting a review on Goodreads and Netgalley so my opinions won’t affect the overall rating. 🙂

3. Alex, Approximately by Jenn Benett (4/5 stars)

Pages: 388

So cute. I fell in love guys. and it was such a great read after being disappointed with Olympian, Challenger.

I’m really proud reading two contemporary YA in one day, I’m not so into the genre. I can say I have a love/hate relationship with it but reading Queens of Geek and Alex, Approximately made me really, really happy. I really enjoyed these gems. I highly recommend them. Guys,

I wanna thank everyone who joined Noriko and me in yet another great day of just enjoying our reads. I really want to see this event last for years and I have so many plans for it. So congratulations to everyone who already finished the Readathon. Erica and I live in the same country so i know she’s done same time as myself. I really applaud her for doing the Readathon even though she’s in the midst of her Thesis. She’s like had a break from the pressure.

I think Nori’s done, she’s an hour ahead of me. Nicole, my younger internet sister is at least twelve hour ahead of me. hehe. Misty is still on it. Go, go, go Misty. And I hope Bree and Arya are enjoying their reads too. 🙂

Okay till next month guys. 🙂

  1. Congratulations on finishing 3 books. I’m hoping to just finish 1. I haven’t started reading yet today. Last night I had a headache and I forced myself to read through it which wasn’t a good idea because it was so bad that I felt sick when I went to bed. Plus I woke up with it this morning as well so I haven’t started reading yet today. I took something for it and I plan to start reading around 12. That will hopefully give me time to finish my current read and start on another one.
