Hour Six – 24 Hour Readathon [June 2018]

Hi Book Dragons,

So I’m doing a 24 Hour Readathon along with Nori. And six hours have already passed. Time is a funny thing. How did it flew so fast? But even so, I can’t say I am not enjoying our readathon this month. Nori,  I and other participants were chatting on twitter earlier and it turned out some of us aren’t starting yet because it’s not yet 8 p.m. where they are. Even so, it’s amazing that we all feel like we’re all doing it together already. And we’re having a blast..

Updates… That’s why I’m here, right?

I already finished one book, it’s called Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde. I absolutely adore this book and you’ll read my review soon. I just feel so lazy making a review right now.

And I know in my TBR post, I said  I’ll be reading The Lunar Chronicles, and I was planning to read the books in their physical forms, with my colorful page markers on standby. The first time I read the series, I didn’t get to review it and I remember liking quotes and scenes so I wanted t mark them this time.

But you guys, an hour before the Readathon started, I went to my shelf to get the books, and discovered that my copy of Winter (4th and last book in the series) is missing.

MISSING!!! And I went crazy.

If you’ve been reading my posts you know I don’t let anyone touch my books. I’m selfish that way. LOL. Seriously, I don’t want anyone but me touching my shelves. Turned out a cousin of mine borrowed it without my permission. She didn’t bother to ask because she knew I won’t let her have it. Also she thought I won’t notice. First because she knew I already read them. Second, I haven’t been reading in the past weeks so there was a little chance I look into my shelves. She forgot how much I love rereading and that I have a 24-Hour Readathon every month.

So yeah. That sucks. But everything’s okay now. She apologized and I’ve forgiven her. She also promised to buy me a new one if I see something wrong with the old one after she’s done with it. All seems to be in order.

So that’s all I can say for now. I don’t know what to read next. I was so set reading Lunar, I didn’t have any other TBR list set.

I’ll go grab some snack while doing some thinking. It’s 2 a.m. where I am and weird, I’m not even sleepy. 🙂
