Fall 2018 TBR [Top Ten Tuesday #22]

Hi Guys,

open-book-2866210_960_720

So it’s Tuesday again. It’s been a long while since I posted for this meme, but this week’s topic is ‘Ten Books on my 2018 Fall TBR’ which I’m gonna do even if not for this meme. By the way, this meme’s hosted by Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl and everyone can join in the fun. Just check out the topics on Jana’s blog. 🙂

Also I’m gonna list  12  instead of 10…

I’m very excited with these books, especially Strange the Dreamer. It’s sequel is coming out and so I’m gonna read them back to back. 🙂 And Novik’s books have been on my radar since a friend gifted me Uprooted. I know I’m gonna like it so I’m thinking of reading Spinning Silver as well.

I liked The Cruel Prince and saw The Darkest Part of the Forest on a friend’s blog earlier today and she liked it. So I thought why not read it too. I received an ARC of The Darkest Star and realized the protagonist in it is from Lux Series so I’m thinking of reading the series first before reading the ARC. But it’s a long series so I’m not sure. I’m gonna try reading Gaiman’s books again. Don’t hate me guys, but when I read American Gods last year, I wasn’t that impressed. I’m gonna try again.

Made You Up  have been on my TBR since I read the author’s Eliza and her monsters, but I kinda forgot about it. The Poet X intrigued me and so does Autoboyography.  A friend told me that she liked The way of All Flesh and so I’m excited to read it. I actually own an ARC so yeah, it’s on my immediate TBR.

So this is my Fall TBR. This isn’t complete because hello, fall is few months and I can read all these in a month. And if you noticed my TBR is a little diverse. Well, I’m a mood reader so…

How about you guys? Are you familiar with these books? What books are you gonna read this season? Please do share them to me, drop your links below even if it’s not a link of  a Top Ten Tuesday. I know most of you really do a TBR list for every season. 🙂 I might find interesting books in your lists.

Let’s chat. 🙂

I remember responding to your comment but when I checked my post again, there’s no reply. Sorry.

Anyway. they’re all YA Contemporary and I trust them to make me fall in love with the genre again. I kinda fell out of love with YA coz I find most of them redundant. But maybe that’s just my mood.. I’m gonna try again.

I loved Strange the Dreamer! Taylor has a way with creating fantastic, immersive worlds. Muse is on my TBR this week too. Hope you enjoy them!

Also you MUST read Lux if you enjoy alien romances. I devoured the series! I cannot wait to read The Darkest Star.

Hope you enjoy all of these!

    Here’s my TTT.

Yes.. I’ve read her other series and it was sooo good.. the only reason I haven’t read Strange the Dreamer yet is because I was waiting for the sequel. I can’t endure the wait. hehe.

Aaaw… too many comments about Lux.. I’m so excited to read it. Just a question, is there love triangle in it or is one of the MC had a relationship with other woman/guy? And is there cheating or something like that? Sorry… I’ve too many questions. 🙂

It’s been a few years since I read Lux, but I do remember that one of things I loved about it is that once the two MC get together they stay together. There is no love triangle that I remember or cheating. Instead the author goes the route of showing the readers how the relationship can build and become strong over time. Loved it!

OMG!!!! I’m reading it after my current. I’d love it, I’m sure….Thanks for telling me.. That means a lot. hehe. I actually don’t mind infos or even little spoilers like this. I’d rather be spoiled of the story than spend a time reading something that’ll annoy me in the end. 🙂 Thanks again.

5 of these books I’m also hoping in the coming months, Strange the Dreamer, Muse of Nightmares, Uprooted, Spinning Silver, and Even the Darkest Stars. I’ve been waiting for Even the Darkest Stars for months, and can’t wait to see this beloved character known as Luc again.

I read Strange the Dreamer this summer and have Muse of Nightmares pre-ordered. Hopefully you’ll like them. I just added Uprooted to my TBR, so hopefully that is good. I haven’t read The Cruel Prince yet, but I’m on the waiting list at the library, so hopefully it will become available this winter! Enjoy your books!

I’m a few weeks late commenting but your list looks so terrific! I’ve added several of these to my TBR list. I’ve wanted to read Coraline for the longest and never have. I’m moving it up the list. Have fun reading!

🙂 🙂 Thanks for reading my post. I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t really started tackling this TBR. haha.

Same here with Caroline. It’s been in my TBR for so long, I’m set to read it this year. I still have 3 months to do so. hehe
