Steamy Reads for Cold Season (Blogmas #10)

Hi Blisses,

Yay, it’s day 10 of #Blogmas. And today I’ll be sharing books that I think are perfect for this cold season.

First, though, I must admit, I don’t think I’m the right person to recommend books in this genre. But I do love steamy reads especially this season. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I’ll share ten steamy reads, five I’ve already read and the other five are recommended to me and are still on my TBR. Also please note that most of these books are just simply intimate, so intimate it’ll make your reading on fire. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

So without further ado, let’s ignite it. LOL. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

**Books I’ve Read**

161020041.) Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren

I admit, I only rated this 3 stars but the fact it’s first in my list says a lot. Bennett and Chloe are workmates. He’s the boss, she’s the assistant. Bennett wasn’t really for office hook-ups but once he let himself give in to temptation with Chloe, he couldn’t get enough. He just have to have her… All over the office… Yep. That happened.

2.) Full Package
by Lauren Blakely

Out of all Lauren Blakely’s books, I chose this and I’m not sure why. Maybe because Chase and Josie are roommates? Or maybe because Josie is Chase’s best friend’s younger sister? Or is it because he’s a doctor and she’s a baker? Or is it simply because Chase is called Dr. Mchottie? You guys decide why this book should be in this list. πŸ™‚

361990843.) The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

A recent read. This book features Michael, an escort, who needs to teach, Stella, an econometrician with Asperger’s everything about intimacy. There are less sex scenes but there are plenty of intimate scenes while Michael teaches Stella. This one is very heartwarming too and really perfect for this season. πŸ™‚

173528744.) Truce by R.L. Mathewson

This is 4th in a series called “Neighbors from Hell” andΒ the only Historical. I think the author just tried tweaking her series. Elizabeth and Robert were each other’s nemesis when they were young but when they met again after 14 years, they had sex. Seriously. That might be a turn off for some readers but please give the book a chance. From that first meeting onwards, it’s all fun, love and hot, hot, hot. But if you want a more complex story from the series, I highly recommend the 1st book, “Playing for Keeps”. That one was hot too and heartwarming. πŸ™‚

5.) Wallbanger
by Alice Clayton

The title says it all. Haha. But seriously, this story has depths too and though sex might be the first thing one thinks upon hearing the title, there’s more to Simon and Caroline. (Actually, I think about the drink first when I read the title) And the story is really fluffy and funny.

*Now let’s get to sexy books that I’m planning to read*

6.) Bared to You by Sylvia Day

7.) The Deal by Elle Kennedy

8.) Easy by Tamarra Weber

9.) Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

10.) Merry Inkmas by Talia Hibbert

Though I’m on a fence with Outlander. I heard some sex scenes seem rape-y. I understand the setting but still I avoid reading books with nonconsensual sex. That being said, do you think I should read Outlander?

Thank you guys for reading my post and my previous posts for #blogmas.

Let’s chat.

  1. The first book I tried reading it was ridiculous for me, totally unrealistic. The second book’s cover made me LOL. The third book sounds really interesting as the characters will have depth and interesting interactions.

    1. I highly recommend book #3.. and LOL to book 2. The writer, Lauren Blakely is one of the most adorable authors I know. of course we haven’t met but talked here and there on comments. She has this other book that’s called Big Rock and it’s the ring really but the cover is a guy that totally naked with only a blanket covering his manly parts. haha.. It’s not something you’ll be giggling to display on your bookshelves.haha
