I don’t really post monthly wrap-ups, not even weekly wrap-ups. But yesterday, I was going through my old journals and saw random words on the lower right corners of their pages. They were my ‘Words of the Day’ which I used to do before. I don’t know if others do this too but since English is not my native language, doing this is really helpful to me. And I decided to make it a habit again.
Then I thought, why stop there? Why not use these random words in my blog too, that way I become even more acquainted with them? 🙂 So here’s the first word, I don’t usually use but… well I like the sound of Jaunty. Plus it kinda rhymes with January.
FEATURED WORD: JAUNTY
Dictionary result for jaunty
having or expressing a lively, cheerful, and self-confident manner.
Now you already have a clue how my January was, but I’ll still go through my READING, WRITING, and BLOGGING individually.
I’ve read six (6) books and I’ve read them all in the last week of January. And I only read because I hosted a 24-Hour Readathon (Day-A-Thon). I swear, if I wasn’t the host, AND the creator, I wouldn’t have joined. Hahaha. Told you, January wasn’t jaunty.
Kindly check out my review links below under “BLOGGING” section.
One F**cking Poem. And I edited a few chapters of my novel, and when I say few, I mean TWO chapters.
