Goodreads Reading Challenge 2019 (1st Quarterly Update)

Hi Blisses,

This post is so late. My hiatus and overall social media break made me reschedule most of my blog posts. But anyway, my first quarterly update of my Goodreads Reading Challenge 2019 is here. I started this habit of posting a quarterly update of my GR Reading Challenge last year and I think it really helped me noting of what I’ve been reading and what I need to read before the year ends. You know, like, if I read too few of contemporary by my first update, then I’ll read more in the second quarter of the year. I really want my reads to be genre-diverse as much as possible.

This year, I only pledge a hundred books, last year I read 201 books, but this year I’d be busy editing a first draft of my novel and write my other manuscripts so a hundred is pretty fair. πŸ™‚

As of today, I’ve read 30 books. And 16 of them are ARCs. Yep, I’ve read 16 ARCs since January. I think, so far, I have nothing to worry about my Goodreads Reading Challenge, or my reading in general. My goal is not to read more anyway, but specifically, to read more ARCs.

How about you guys, how’s your reading so far this year? Doing good? How many books did you pledge for Goodreads Reading Challenge? What genre do you want to read more for the rest of the year? And do you make an update for this reading challenge as well? I want to read your post so share the links in the comments.

You are doing amazing Lili!! My goal is 100 books again this year and I am currently 8 books ahead of schedule with 39 books read so far. This reminds me that I need to do all of my quarterly updates for my reading challenges.
