WWW Wednesday #36

Hi Blisses,

i’ve been doing a lot of reading and writing these days but I’m not at all exhausted. It’s like my body, brain and heart missed the written art too. i’m literally on fire that I even make it a habit now to read one book before sleeping which makes me think I need to find or buy me a book lamp. If you guys know a brand or an online store where I can buy one, please let me know in the comments. I want one with quality and good design.

So anyway, this weekly meme is hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words and if you haven’t visited her blog yet, You can do so now. You won’t regret it. πŸ™‚ Now let’s get on with this.

#3 Questions are to be answered:

1.) What are you currently reading?

Truth is, i haven’t started reading this yt but this will be the book I’ll be reading tonight. Highland Jewel is an ARC I was invited by the publisher, St. Martin’s to read and I’m very glad to do so.
The story is set in Edinburgh between two people who are in two different sides of principle. One’s a lieutenant who’ve always played by the rule and the other has some radical beliefs that’s not encouraged in her time. So it’s an interesting concept, I just hope the story turns out to be interesting too.

2.) What did you recently finished?

Just like last week, I read six books again. I actually thought I’ve read more but well, my Goodreads list showed it’s six. That’s still good news, but the bad news is I didn’t get to read the ones I listed last week. hehe. I’m not really one who’s good at following plans.

Again the Magic is a reread and you can click its title to see my review. I finally finished The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and will try to review it soon. I always find it hard to review non-fiction. I ended up rating Heart of Stone 4 stars but you’ll have to wait for the 30th to read my review as that’s my schedule for its blog tour. I read Hard to Love trilogy and have a mixed feelings in each book. I already published the review for Wrecking Ball and will soon publish the ones for Sledgehammer (my favorite in the series) and Bulldozer (will be a major rant review.)

3.) What do you think you’ll read next?

How about you? What books have you read recently? What are you reading? Or planning to read? Have you read or heard any of the books in my list? Share them with me in the comments.

Happy Reading,

I think I can relate to how you’re feeling, Lili. I’m not a writer as you are, but back to blogging kind of makes me want to write more posts which urges me to read more, read faster (I hope)… a good cycle, don’t you think?
    Happy reading!

Exactly. In my case, I love what blogging and reading do to my writing. Though I love taking hiatus once in a while, whenever I go back it makes me more productive. The community also helps, isn’t it? When i see or read others posts, I also get motivated to do more.

happy reading to you too Nori. πŸ™‚

    Hi Lili!

I just got back into blogging. I kind of fell off for a while and I have noticed that it has had an effect on my reading too. I’ve been mostly going for manga and graphic novels since it’s not that much of a commitment. I definitely feel like I just have to get back in the habit of reading, like you said reading right before bed etc. Once you get in the flow of reading, that’s when you can really enjoy it. Here is my WWW Wednesday post if you’re interested:

Laini Taylor’s books are supposed to be really good! I haven’t had a chance to read them yet, but I do hope you like them. I’ve read The Golden Compass, but it was so long ago that I barely remember anything about it. I’ve been thinking I should re-read them. Happy reading.

    Here’s my WWW post.
