2019 Moody Reader Reading Challenge (Update)

Hi Blisses,

I joined this challenge late this year too. But I think, out of all the reading challenges I’m doing, this one is the easiest which means, I’ll finish this sooner than the others. Which also means, an update post is a must. This challenge is, by the way, hosted by Dani from Perspective of a Writer. Dani is one of my first friends I’ve met here in blogosphere and if you haven’t checked her blog, now is the time. 🙂 🙂

Here are the rules for this challenge:

* Target backlisted books I’m excited to read
* Sort them into genres that I will focus on during the year
* Mix it up so there will be all sorts of books to fit every mood.
* Challenge the list if I learn about a different books that I want to read soon.

I chose only few genres and just five for each. It’s because I really want to finish this challenge. I’ve crossed out the ones I already read. 🙂

Contemporary Romance (One more to go)

1.) The Bride Test by Helen Hoang (My Review)
2.) The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (My Review)
3.) Beard Necessities by Penny Reid
4.) Kissing Tolstoy by Penny Reid (My Review)
5.) A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole

Fantasy (all done)

1.) Wicked Fox by Kat Cho (My Review)
2.) The Written by Ben Galley
3.) Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller (My Review)
4.) Bring Me Their Hearts by Sara Wolf (My Review)
5.) The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman

Historical Romance

1.) Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas
2.) Marrying Winterborne by Lisa Kleypas
3.) Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas
4.) Devil’s Daughter by Lisa Kleypas
5.) The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare (My Review)

Mystery/Thriller/Crime/Horror

1.) Middlegame by Seanan McGuire
2.) Broken Heart Attack by James J. Cudney (My Review)
3.) And There Were None by Agatha Christie
4.) Pet Sematary by Stephen King (My Review)
5.) Death Among Us by Stephen Bentley

So overall, I’ve finished 15 books already, only 5 to go. I might finish this challenge next month. 🙂

Hahaha. You are so right. They’re made to be broken. This year I’ll make sure to post a wrap-up post for this challenge. I don’t think I did last year though I finished the challenge. 🙂 Happy reading to you too, hope we enjoy The Bride test and Bring Me their hearts. 💖💖
