WWW Wednesday, 10/02/2019

Hi Blisses,

It’s time for WWW Wednesday again and to give you guys an update on my reading. This meme is hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words and I’m personally thankful to her for taking over this meme when A Daily Rythm can no longer host this. πŸ™‚ Anyway, this is the first Wednesday of the month and what a good start for me. You gotta keep reading to see my read count and see why I decided to make a blog post (and in our next 24-hour readathon, a vlog) to share how I become a fast reader.

#3 Questions are to be Answered

1.) What are you currently reading?

TITLE: The Sisters Grimm by Mena Van Praag
Ok, actually, I haven’t started this yet but I will tonight. You see I already read 2 books last night, they’re contemporary romances and pretty short, and I don’t want to cut my momentum. I’ll try reading again every day or night. So I’ll sure read this tonight. This one is an ARC from Netgalley and won’t be out till next year but this is the only book in my Netgalley shelf, I REPEAT: THIS IS THE ONLY BOOK IN MY NETGALLEY SHELF!!! hehe. I need balloons and confetti for this, don’t you think?

To be honest, I don’t know much about this book but it sounds interesting. It’s about this 4 girls, different mothers and same father? They were born in the same day, met when they were 8 and separated at 13. Now, they’re nearly 18, they need to go to this place called Everwhere to meet their father and that’s when stuff will get serious. I’m so excited to dive into this fantasy.

2.) What did you recently finished?

I finished 6 Books. I thought I finished 5, but it’s 6. I’m pretty sure this is not surprising to most of you because 1.) most of you know I had Day-A-Thon last weekend. (Day-A-Thon is a 24-Hour Readathon that my friend and I do every last weekend of the month. You can join us this month if you want) 2.) Most of you know I’m a fast reader. If you’re a new follower, here’s a fact, I can read 4 books a day. My 24-Hour Readathon’s wrap-ups have proved that. I read 3-4 books complete with reviews and blog updates. Last week, a new friend asked me how I can read that much in a day and she went on saying it’s really unbelievable. And I wasn’t insulted or mad that she doubted me. She was just plain curious and wasn’t the first time someone told me the same thing. So, I DECIDED TO DO A BLOG POST SHARING HOW I BECOME A FAST READER. Also, in our next 24-hour readathon, I’ll make a vlog or something to let you guys see how I read. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

3.) What do you think you’ll read next?

As you can see, I have lots of Contemporary Romances in my list. It’s one of my favorite genres and I need to read lots of it this month because in November, I’d be very busy with NaNoWriMo, and I’ll be writing fantasy novel. That means, my reads would be in that genre. One of the ways I keep myself to stay in the mood of writing is to read books in the same genre of my novel. That keeps the atmosphere and my brain likes it that way. πŸ™‚

OK, have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR too? What do you think of them? Also, are you a writer doing NaNoWriMo next month? Let’s chat.

Hi Pri.. right? It’s been a long time. No problem though. I just got back on blogging REGULARLY last month. Before that, I just come here to post ARC reviews and then leave. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Me too, I’ll be reading your posts soon, but I’ll totally understand if you can’t up on my past posts. I was in college once too and wow, I didn’t even have time to blog that time and the only social media I had was facebook. lol.

Goodluck on college though. Despite it being hard, it’s my favorite stage of schooling.

Have you read Kissing Tolstoy? That’s first book in the Dear Professor Series but they can be read as standalones. But I liked the first book more. I’ll post my review of Kissing Galileo this weekend (maybe). But I already reviewed Kissing Tolstoy.

Are we friends on Goodreads? What’s your name there? I’ll add you. πŸ™‚

It’s possible, right? haha. In my mind, I sound like looking for an ally on this. It’s really possible to read four books, just don’t read something written by Stephen King, or any of the books in HP series. Those books are too long. haha.

Hopefully, I can vlog. I’ll probably be too awkward speaking English nonstop. I’m fluent but it would be my first time recording a video to share online. Maybe, I’ll just do it on insta.

I just visited your blog and saw that your’re new so I want to say, welcome to blogosphere. And thank you for the follow. I just followed you back. πŸ™‚

Thank you! Yes I’m very very new! I’d hate to post a video of myself too, I prefer to hide behind the protection of my words. I’ve never felt comfortable in front of a camera, although I love being behind the camera! Thanks for the follow too!!

You can join us anytime you want. Some of our friends just join anytime during the readathon. It’s not a very serious readathon so no rules, but it’s nice to chat all-day long with other readers.

Kissing Galileo was fine for me, but I liked the first books in the series, Kissing Tolstoy more. I’ll post my review of Galileo this weekend. πŸ™‚

Glad we both agree. You know, Knitting in the City series was the first series I tried by Penny Reid but I ended up not liking it. Maybe it was my mood, and then I read Winston brothers, also didn’t like book 1 of that series but I kept on reading the series and fell in love with Penny’s writing. That’s when I tried rereading Knitting in the city, and I’m on book 4 now and loving every book in it. I’m so glad I didn’t give up on reading her works. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
