The Liebster Award

Hi Blisses,

It’s been a long while since I did this kind of post so a huge thanks to Iqra from The Book Warrior for nominating me for this award. I’ve been nominated for Liebster award few times before, but the thing about this award is it involves answering questions, questions that each blogger assigned to their nominees. So the questions are usually different and it doesn’t matter if two or more bloggers nominate you.

By the way, the word Liebster in German means the sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing or even darling. In short, Liebster is such a sweet word and being nominated for this award warms my heart…Though I’m pretty sure my parents would disagree about me being sweetest. 🙂 🙂 And if you want to know more and for more graphics for this award, you can visit the official link for the Liebster Award HERE.

RULES

  • Nominate 5-11 other bloggers.
  • Ask your nominees 11 questions.
  • Notify your nominees once you have uploaded your post.

Iqra’s Questions

1.) Which country are you from?

— From the pearl of the Orient Seas, PHILIPPINES

2.) Which is your Favorite book?

— Hmmm, this is the hardest question on Earth and I can’t answer it. LOL. It’s just so hard to pick one.

3.) Favorite TV-show?

Running Man. I’m sure not everyone is familiar but Running Man is a Korean Variety show that’s been running for 10 years. For the sake of this pos, I won’t expalin much about running man, but it’s funny and I watch an episode (or two) whenever I’m stressed and in need of some laughs. They’re in their 501st episode.

4.) Do you own any pets? If yes which one?

— Sadly, no.

5.) What is your Favorite Quote?

— I love lots quotes but my favorite ones are from poems so you can also call them, verses. Here’s one line from The Lesson by Maya Angelou.

I keep on dying,
Because I love to live.

— Maya Angelou (The Lesson)

6.) What is your happiest moment?

— When I’m writing, or just thinking about writing makes me the happiest. My heart beats a little faster, my stomach clenches out of excitement, and my eyes glassy with joy. That’s how I know I really was born to write and that even though I haven’t published anything yet, I know I’m on the right track because of that feeling. It’s true love. 🙂 🙂

7.) What do you do to relax?

— Aside from watching my favorite TV show, I read, and reread a lot. I journal, I work on my jigsaw puzzles and I sleep.

8.) Favorite Time of Day?

— Midnight. I love the quiet when the world’s asleep and the chill that only the night air can bring.

9.) Have you traveled abroad? If yes, where?

— I haven’t because it’s not yet time. My plan is to travel the world when I reach 30. I don’t want to start it now because what I want is once I start traveling, I’m never going to stop. This plan works for me because I have no plan getting married.

10.) Favorite color?

— Teal or turquoise. And monochrome.

11.) One Thing you Hate the Most?

— Fake people.

11 Facts about me

1.) My closet is filled with black, white, gray and plaits.
2.) I’m not good at spelling.
3.) The first books I’ve read as a child are all crime thrillers and mysteries.
4.) I put salt in apples and watermelons
5.) I only had one boyfriend since birth and that was 10 years ago.
6.) I’m an eldest of four children.
7.) I was a salutatorian in highschool BUT

  1. Hey!! That link is very informative, there were few things I didn’t know about. Thanks a lot ❤❤!! I loved your answers.
Night/Midnight is really the best, it’s silent and ones imagination is really running wild and free ❤.
I love k-dramas too. They are the most hilarious ones on this planet. Haven’t watched this show yet (as I tend to watch the short dramas).
Nope I am glad you liked my questions enough to share them :D.

    1. True. I even read horror at midnight. It’s thr best time to read. And you don’t have to watch all the episodes of running man since it’s a variety show. i just watch it randomly whenever I want to laugh. That show is nice stress reliever. 😊

Thanks again for the award and I really love your questions. I enjoyed doing this post because of your questions. 💖💖

    1. Take your time Nori. This is a long post to do. That’s for sure. 😊 Aaaaand, I think this is not the first we talked about never getting married. Looks like we haven’t met anyone yet who can change our minds in that matter. 😊

You saty safe and happy too.

  3. Thank you for nominating me! I’m very touched! 🥰 We have the same favourite color—mine is also teal/turquoise! My backpack throughout college was that colour. It’s so hard to find the shade I like, though, so sometimes I settle for my second fave, which is dusty (?) rose. And lol, I also put salt on watermelon. And guava. (Maybe it’s a Pinoy thing???) My happiest moments are reading and writing for my blog—nothing compares to the feeling of absolute concentration and flow that I get from it. I’m glad you enjoy writing regardless of any external validation—it looks like you’re on the right track! ❤ Loved this post; I felt I'm getting to know you more too 🙂

    1. Thank you for this comment. 💖 I’m sure, I’ll get to know you more based on your answers too and looking forward to it.

And true, it’s so hard to find the right shade but I did once. I found this little backpack (backpack is what I consider as purse 😊) from SM. I forgot the brand. But it’s the right shade that I like. Putting salt in watermelon is I don’t think a Pinoy thing. In fact, the reason why i remembered including it in my facts about me is because I saw someone who’s not a Filipino tweeted about it. So I guess it’s really a thing but only weird people like us do it. 😊But seriously, if people taste watermelons with salt, they’ll thank us. 😁😁

      Also, I miss guava.
