Hi Blisses,
Before anything, I just want everyone to know that I review most of my reads and if you want to read them, here’s my 2020 Reads Index.

It’s time for sharing my reads again. The thing is I counted my total reads for the month of May so far and it’s already past 20. Like, WHO AM I? I know I am a fast reader and I still haven’t gone back to work yet so I have lots of free time, but still, I skipped few days not reading anything in the past weeks. But then again, I had a spontaneous 48-hour readathon on May 2 – I binge-read The Diviners quartet. Funny thing is, my friend Nori and I will have another 24-Hour Readathon this weekend. I might make a new record for my monthly reading count…
But enough for my monthly reads. Let’s talk about what I read last week, what I will read and of course, what I’m currently reading. By the way, this meme is hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words and if you haven’t visited her site yet, you can do it now.
Okay, let’s talk book…
#3 Questions are to be Answered
1.) What are you currently reading?

Listen to your Heart is in my Summer Reads TBR. It’s not summer anymore where I am but I’m reading it anyway. Also, this book is my first from Kasie West. I heard that her books are mostly too YA so I haven’t picked up her books until now. And one of the reasonsI picked it up is I have it on my kindle. To be honest, I don’t remember purchasing this but maybe the blurb caught my interest at some point. It’s about Kate who isn’t fond of talking to people or she finds it hard to talk to them. She’s also kind of a Lake Girl. But then because of her best friend, she ends up as a host of their high school podcast, in which there’s a segment where the hosts receives callers and they give advice. The love interest is one of the callers asking about his unnamed crush. Kate gives advice and soon starts falling in love with him…Yeah, that sounds like something that might interest me.
2.) What did you recently finished?
I finished five (5) books and DNF’ed one 1…
Please click the title of the book to see my reviews…
I DNF’ed If I’m Being Honest because I couldn’t stand the heroine. That’s all I’m going to say about it. And it’s my first DNF of the year. I finally picked up Poison Study which is one of the 10 Backlist Series I want to Read this year. Another backlist title is When A Scot Ties the Knot which I enjoyed a lot. If I Only Knew is a unplanned read which is fairly good read. The Field and Catalyst are by the same author and the reason why I got copies of both books is because I’m in a blog tour for Catalyst. I ended up reading both.
3.) What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m not changing this part because I don’t follow my TBR anyway.
Again, we’ll be having a 24-Hour Readathon this weekend. I might not post a WWW next week because of that. Because I’ll be posting my 24-Hour Readathon wrap-up and my monthly wrap-up so it will be like I’ll just be talking about the same books in several posts. And by the way, you can all join our readathon.
Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR too? What do you think of them? What’s on your TBR this week? Let’s chat.

I just finished the latest book by the author duo of If I’m Being Honest, and I struggled, for sure. And I would have liked a different ending too – lol. NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!

I didn’t even know they’re a writing duo. Too bad, we both didn’t enjoy what we read. 🙂

The Diviners by Margaret Laurence, apparently it is the last of her “Manawaka” series, which I know nothing about lol. It was totally fine as a stand alone though 🙂

8 more books. My highest record was February last year. I read 30 books which is ridiculous because Feb only has 28 days, right? But I did a couple of readathons, including my own 24-Hour readathon. That time, I finished 4 books in 24 hrs. I really stayed awake even for most of the night. I was proud of that record. 😁😁

The Vine Witch is so good. I’ve got the next book from NetGalley called The Glamourist, which I will be reading soon.

I got The Glamourist from Netgalley too. That’s why I learned about The Vine Witch. I’ll be reading both in our 24-Hour Readathon this weekend. 🙂 🙂

I’d love to have a 24 hour readathon – I’d probably need a month long readathon to get caught up, though. Happy Reading, Lili! https://teripolen.com/2020/05/27/www-wednesdays-what-am-i-reading-amreading-12/

Hi Teri. You can join us if you want. We’ll start at friday night. 😊 in my case, I don’t need to catch up on my reading. We’ve been on quarantine for almost 3 months no so I had lots of time to read. 😊
And happy reading to you too.

Oh thank goodnesss – I need a 24 hour readathon! Actually, I probably need a 24 hour catch-up-on-my-review-athon.
Love your DNF description. I have a love / hate with DNFing a book. I feel so free and so guilty at the same time.
Have a great week! Molly @ http://silverbuttonbooks.com/2020/05/27/www-wednesday-may-27-2020/

Oooh, are you reading all the extra books in the Chronicles of Ixia? I didn’t realise the ‘Glass’ trilogy came in between Fire Study and Shadow Study and was immensely confused when I started Shadow!! 😂

That’s the plan. But Im not sure if it’s the Glass trilogy I have. I have the original Poison trilogy. But I think I have Soul Finder. I’m not sure because Im not at home and I can’t see my copies. 😊 I even had to buy a kindle copy for Poison Study just so I can read them here.
So how many books are there in Chronicles of Ixia. I really thought it was only 6.

There’s 3 in the original Study trilogy, then 3 in the Glass trilogy (which doesn’t follow Yelena, but adds to the world building and plot), and then a final 3 in the Shadow to Dawn study trilogy. If I can figure out which of my blog posts has it, I’ll send you the link for the reading order, and it has links to the online short stories as well.
