Hi Blisses,
Our Day-A-Thon is once again a success. As you all know, Nori from Diary of a Book Fiend and I do a 24-Hour Readathon every last weekend of the month. It always starts at 8 p.m. Friday, and ends at the same time the next day. It’s Saturday night now and our readathon has just ended. All in all, I read three (3) books. Actually, I finished my third book an hour ago and so I did this wrap-up post right away.
So what did I read…
In my TBR Post, I said I’ll try reading four books, obviously I failed. But three books is still huge success. And I already reviewed two of them, only they won’t be live till tomorrow and the next morning.
1.) The Vine Witch by Luanne G. Smith (3.5🌟)
2.) The Glamourist by Luanne G. Smith (4🌟)
3.) Ghosting: A Love by Tash Skilton (3🌟)
It would’ve been better if I had a 5🌟 read but I’m just glad I didn’ have a DNF. That’s a big success, for me. I can just hope next month, I’ll have a 5🌟 read.
Okay, Blisses, that’s all. I really enjoyed this month’s readathon. I enjoyed chatting with everyone, most of all. 🙂 Till next month
You did amazing, Lili! My books are both on the short side, but I still finished 2 books and read 50% of the book as well!
That counts a success, right? Let’s do this again!

That’s BIG success. And of course, we’ll do this again. I’m already excited for next month. In fact, Im already planning what to read. I realize reading a series, a trilogy maybe, is best for me during dayathon. Coz I don’t usually review middle books of series. That way, Im more focused on reading and not at taking notes for my reviews later.

3 books in a day is fantastic!

Wow, 3 books is fantastic! A little sad that you didn’t have a 5 star read, but you’re right, having no DNF’s makes it a win 🙌🏼

I love the idea of a readathon at such a frequency! It must be so much fun hahaha I have to admit that the covers on all three of the books could get 5 stars for me at least though! 😛 Thanks for sharing, Lili! 🙂

Wish I could read fast enough to finish a book in one day let alone 3 😲

Hehe. I only sleep for few hours during readathons, so it’s possible for me to read more than 1 book. 😊

Even so, my attention span isn’t there 🙈 I read for an hour or so then go and write, play games, go for a walk etc … despite reading being one of my favourite things, I can’t sit and do it for long. Then again, the same could be said for everything I do. I’m just naturally restless haha

Hahaha. We’re so opposite. I prefer sitting than go for a walk. And if it’s up to me, I won’t leave my room forever…😂
Though I think the quarantine changed me a bit. 😅

I used to be that way when I was younger. Never leave my room, read for hours on end. Now, at the ripe old age of 31 I’ve developed an outdoorsy side 😂

Haha. Im turning 28 this June, maybe I’m starting to develop it too. 😅 I swear, during quarantine, all I can think of is why I didn’t go out much before. 😂

I think you do appreciate it more as you get older. Certainly when the opportunity isn’t there like it isn’t now.
You don’t look a day over 22

Let’s see. But I’ll love that. As tou know, I want to travel someday so having the love for outdoors would be nice. 😅 I’ll take that as a compliment. It’s because I’m so petite, I look young. 😊

You did amazing!! I still have 4 hours left before it for me and I’m hoping to finish the last half of The Running Man.
