The TBR Book Tag

Hi Blisses,

I’m here for a book tag which I haven’t done in a while. But lately, I feel like I’m drained both mentally and physically so my brain wouldn’t give any idea what to post. And doing book reviews is also tiring, to be honest. So I decided to post a book tag today.

I wasn’t really tagged to do this but I saw it over at JenJen’s Reviews and I asked her if I can do it. She said yes. If you want to read her own post, you can do so HERE.

Okay, without further ado…

1.) How do you keep track of your TBR?

Goodreads and my Reading Journal. On Goodreads, I used to have tons of books under my To-Read list but last year I spent a couple of hours removing all of them. So now, I only have 20-30 To-Read there, just the books I’m planning to read in the current month. In my journal, there’s a separate section where I list and keep track of the books I want to read every month.

2.) Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?

Now, mostly ebooks.

3.) How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

Ugh! I’m a mood reader so it usually based on my mood. But if I’m reading a series, it’s a no-brainer, the next one in the series is what I will read next.

4.) A book that’s been on your TBR the longest.

The Percy Jackson Series…I knooooow, I deserve the wrath of poseidon. I really need to read that series before the new adaptation comes out.

5.) A book that you recently added to your TBR.

Ah there’s a lot but last these are the books I added on my TBR…

6.) A book that is on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover.

Ever Cursed by Corey Ann Haydu. I added it on my TBR without even knowing what’s it about. 🙂

7.) A book on your TBR that you never plan on actually reading.

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, because I already know what’s going to happen.

8.) An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for.

Ah there’s a lot…But I’m excited for these sequels.

9.) A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read except you.

There’s a lot because I don’t give in to hype easily but here are four of them…

10.) A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you.

I’d say Circe and The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. They’ve been recommended to me countless times.

11.) A book on your TBR that you are just dying to read.

A Song of Wraiths and Ruin. I don’t have a copy yet but I really want to read it soon.

12.) The number of books on your Goodreads TBR shelf.

As I said, I cleared my To-Read shelf on Goodreads and only list the books I want to read in the month. So right now, I only have 25 books in my Goodreads TBR.

There you have it guys. I don’t know if it’s reflected in my writing but I really feel so tired. And my mental health is taking a hit due to number of things that are happening in the world right now.

I think I need to take some break from everything.

  2. Me too I have also never read those five books …. but they are also very high up on my TBR. I really hope you enjoy the Percy Jackson series! I have only read the first one though, but I had really enjoyed it. And take care, I hope you feel well soon.

    1. Thank you 💕💕I’m planning to buddy read Percy Jackson with anyone, if you’re up to it, I can contact you when I’m reading it. 🙂 But it won’t be soon coz I still have a lot of series to finish. Maybe before the new adaptation comes out. 😀

      1. Definitely… I will love to buddy read Percy Jackson. It has been so long that I have forgotten a lot about first book also. Whenever you want to start the series just inform me, I already own the first book so I can start anytime.
