Hi Blisses,

I’m back in the reading realm, you all. This is my first WWW post this year and let me tell you, considering how many books I read this week, this is a great comeback for me. So, I want to quote the one and only Taylor Swift.
Yay!!! I’m so happy. I can’t wait to share what I read last week, along with the books I’m planning to read and, of course, what I’m currently reading. But before that…This meme is hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words. Sam is an aspiring author, just like myself, and she posts book reviews and accounts of her writing journey in her blog. If you’re not following her yet, you’re missing out.
Okay, let’s talk book…
#3 Questions are to be Answered
1.) What are you currently reading?
I’ve changed! If you’ve been following me for at least a year, you’d know that I never read several books at a time. It’s hard for me to focus on different stories. But here I am. Who am I? I don’t know. This just happens. I can now pause a book and read another without finishing the other first. And surprisingly, my head’s not messed up. So I guess I’m improving, huh? Anyway, Malice is a BOTM for a book club I’m part of, but I didn’t finish it. I need to read Ink & Sigil because I got its sequel from Netgalley. With You Forever is also from Netgalley, but I requested it, and probably the reason why I got approved for this book is that I was part of the promotion for the previous books in the series. Lastly, Intended is a book I got from BookSirens. Intended has very few reviews despite the blurb being interesting, so I’m giving it a chance.
2.) What did you recently finished?
I told you this is a great comeback. Though this isn’t surprising, I really am a fast reader. This is not the first time I read five books in a week, but considering my hiatus this is pretty awesome. I’m pretty proud of myself. It’s nice to feel that things are finally going back to normal. I read Lies Like Wildfire and The Meeting Point for a blog tour. True Loaf is an audiobook I got from Netgalley. Hands Down and That Swoony Feeling are books of my choosing. I think the romances in my reads are the reason why I’m kind of back to reading realm. Romance is my comfort genre, and when I read That Swoony Feeling, my love for reading kind of came back.
3.) What do you think you’ll read next?
I love my next reads. Ylmi’s Saga is a sequel to a book I read from BookSirens and the author requested a review from me. Keepers of the Gate is for a blog tour. All Rhodes Here is a book of my choosing. As you can see, I’m catching up on Mariana Zapata’s books. And lastly, Into The Dying Light is an ARC I got from Orbit, which I’m going to read with a bunch of friends on Twitter.
Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR too? What do you think of them? What are your recent reads? What’s on your TBR this week? Let’s chat.

Welcome back

Thank you Shalini. How are you? How’s the pandemic in your country? Is it getting better, at least?

I’m glad to hear your slump is over!
There’s honestly nothing better to me than a good romance read. 😍Mariana Zapata is one of my all time favorites. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me, Kulti, and From Lukov With Love are my personal favorites.
If you have time, I’d love to have you check out my WWW Wednesday post:

OMG the three MZ books you mentioned are my favorite too, along with WAIT FOR IT. Also, I’m currently reading All Rhodes Here and I think it will be on my Favorite List as well. IT’s so good. 🙂

Yay!! I am so glad you will be joining us Lili. I think I’ve only read the one book by her and that was The Wedding Game. I ended up giving it 5 stars.

hi Cassie, thank youuu. 🙂 If you love slow burn, you’ll love Mariana Zapata. Tbh, her books don’t follow the rules in writing, but there’s somethng about her stories that you just want to keep reading and stay in the characters’ minds even if the story is getting incredibly long because most of the times the characters just repeats everything in their internal monologue, but still you wanna keep reading. That’s how good Mariana Zapata is. 🙂
