Hi Blisses,

It’s the first Wednesday of the month and I want to do this month right. I really want to be productive and read a lot. The year is almost over and I haven’t even read 50 books yet. It’s not about the numbers, I know but if you’re me who used to read 150-250 books a year, 50 would make you feel so unproductive too. I’ve really had unproductive months this year. I need to catch up on everything and I want to begin this month.

So here I am. I can’t wait to share what I read last week, along with the books I’m planning to read and, of course, what I’m currently reading. But before that…This meme is hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words. If you’re not following Sam’s blog yet, you’re missing out so do it now. 🙂

1.) What are you currently reading?

I’m reading For the Wolf and Cemetery Boys for Tropeathon, crossing off several prompts for each. Aside from Tropeathon, For the Wolf is also a Netgalley ARC, along with Into the Light. I wasn’t really planning to read My Dark Vanessa even if I was told it deserves its hype since it was released. But I am ghostwriting a book with a similar theme so I thought I should read it as a research and to make sure it has a different format from what I’m writing.

2.) What did you recently finished?

I read five books last week. Yes!!! I read The Chronicles of Iona and Shadow Stained for blog tours, while I read A Rogue By Any Other Name for Tropeathon. But then I realized that the ARBAON along with other books in the series also fit my AtoZ reading challenge so I ended up reading the whole series, except book 3. Book 3 really don’t fit to any of my reading challenges so I’m reading it last. The books in the series can be read as standalones so it’s OK to skip it for now.
