June TBR [ReRead Month]

Hi Nerds,

jazzy-june

I’m back to share you all my June TBR. I don’t actually set a TBR coz I’m not good on following a plan. But this month, I’m joining Kathy’s Jazzy June  Reading Challenge which features Rereading. I love rereading, I even have a tradition of it. I reread Harry Potter Series every Summer [April/May here in the Phillipines]. But when I learned from Kath that June will be for Rereading, I instantly rescheduled my tradition.

So for the next 30 Days, aside from ARCs, I’ll only be reading books I’ve read already. They will be books that I REALLY Liked. I’m excited. I really love rereading, it always gets me out of a slump. But the ones you’ll see in this list are all series. I’ll be rereading standalones but it will depend on my mood what I’ll read. Also i’m not sure if I read all of these. I’m busy writing. 🙂

So here are the series I’ll be rereading:

1. Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

2. Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

3. Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

4. Bridgertons Series by Julia Quinn

A total of 21 books and it’s already a big number so I’m gonna stop listing now. Truth is, I also want to reread Narnia this month but I don’t think I’ll manage. I also want to reread The Book Thief and The Help. I’ll try. 🙂

How about you guys, any book you want to reread?

Let’s chat.

            1. It is a tricky question, ACOTAR was my favorite series since last month…I recently read All the boys I’ve loved and it was really good so I guess at this time this one is my favorite 😂

  1. Ohh wow, an entire month dedicated to re-reads. ✨

I’m currently re-reading HP as well, and ahh I’ve been wanting to re-read Six of Crows for the longest time!! (And the fact that it’s becoming a trilogy is just added incentive.)

I hope you enjoy your re-reads & welcome back from your hiatus, Lili! 💜

    1. Oh My God, You’re so lucky to be gifted of it. 🙂 🙂 And June is my birthday month so I thought why not set it for books I’m SURE will really make me happy even though it would be the second time around… 🙂 🙂

  2. Shiiiii.. I almost never reread and my TBR only consists of books I haven’t read yet. And I honestly haven’t reread more than maybe a total of 10 books in my life! Shocking, I know!🤪

    1. Awww, but revisiting is a great experience too. But I do understand that since we all have endless TBRs, it’s practical to just read the ones we haven’t read yet. But I can’t help myself from rereading…hehe…

  3. Damn! haha they are so many! and I haven’t even been able to read Six of Crows haha I hope you manage to read them all and to love them all over again and to find new meanings ❤
The Lunar chronicles never called my attention… :/ I am not such a big fan of… fairytale re-tales? XD

    1. Yeah, Retellings are not for everyone, and I even have few friends who do love retelling but didn’t love Lunar Chronicles. But I just love the series. But anyway, hope you love them if ever you try reading them. 🙂 🙂

And awww, read Six of Crows now…. hahaha… And yeah I’m sure I’ll love them still. Thank you..

            1. UGH!!!… I didn’t know why it even made into a movie. I watched the movie and it was ok.. just ok.. so mediocre. I watched it when I was just starting to love retellings. Wondering if the author’s writing is really good, I tried her other book, A Kiss in time. A retelling of Sleeping beauty.. God, it’s the worst…(sorry to the author but really) Hahaha.. I now understand why you instantly disliked retelling. Thanks for sharing,

            2. haha it was not that bad! I mean I am not in love with retellings but… meh XD I mean I like the rich guy thing and all… but I like better the movie “beast” than the book “beast”… even it is fairy taleish… I think it was more realistic XD and I also find them to be a bit of a lack of imagination? that you have to take someone’s work and twisted around? XD

    1. Honestly I love SoC more than Shadow and Bone.. I didn’t like Shadow and Bone that much but I love the other 2 books in the series. 🙂 🙂 But for King of Scars, I’d reread them all. hehe.

  4. I’m currently rereading HP; I’m on book four which is one of the five books I read a chapter from while on the elliptical. Oh boy was that Lunar series crazy. I need to finish the Six of Crows duology.

  5. Whoop! Have fuuuun!
I’m over halfway in HP #1 [I’m seriously refusing to type the entire title lately.. :’)] but I’ve been busy this past weekend, so I’m going to finish it soon now. I’m home alone every evening the next couple of days so that equals a loooot of reading time, haha.

Have fun with Jazzy June! 😀
