WWW Wednesday #23

Happy Wednesday Nerds,

240_F_132790956_kmUGMdwatnAcQUIXx6yOQadP83XcOY9y

I haven’t done this meme in a while, but that’s because I haven’t been reading. Last week though, I read few books so I think a recap is in order. This meme is currently hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words and everyone can join. All you have to do is answer 3 questions and the comment your post link on Sam’s current post.

SO here’s my week…

#3 Questions are to be answered:

1.)  What are you currently reading?

1891TITLE: Pride and Prejudice

BY: Jane Austen

STATUS: I haven’t started it actually. I just listed it on GR as #Currently Reading so I can have something to put in here. hehe. Anyway, I’m still on a Reread Month so this one is perfect and it fits into 2 of the Reading Challenges I joined this year so I’m hitting three birds in 1 stone book by reading this. 🙂

2.) What did you recently finished?

I’m rereading this Historical Romance series, the Bridgertons Series, that tells the love stories of 8 siblings. The Bridgertons are my favorite siblings, they’re so entertaining and fun to read. Both the guys and girls are good at making me laugh. They’re all sassy and jerk-ish. 🙂 🙂 But I think this time, I’m good at rereading only 4 books in the series. I still have plenty to reread. 🙂

3.)What do you think you’ll read next?

My next reread…

My list is a little too short. Have you read any of the books in my list?  What do you think of them and how’s your week going?

Let’s chat,

  1. It seems like a fairly long list to me 😀 I loved the lunar chronicles but I’m not sure I’d re read them. Although there are very few books I would re read. I still haven’t read anything by Quinn but feel like I really should given my new found love for historical romance.

    1. I’m only rereading Lunar Chronicles for Carswell Thorne. 🙂 🙂
Have you read the Wallflowers Series by Lisa Kleypas? It’s the best historical romance series for me… plus Tessa Dare’s.. though I mentioned that before, I guess? hehe.

      1. Seems like a good reason 😂 Thorne really needs his own spin off series.

I only picked up my first Tessa Dare a few months ago so haven’t gotten to Lisa Kleypas yet. I will definitely get to it at some point.

        1. I knooow… I want a complete series for Thorne like what’s Leigh Bardugo is doing with Nikolai Lantsov. hehe

I remember us talking about Tessa Dare, when you read the 4 books of ‘Wallflowers Series”, I suggest reading the prequel novel first, it’s called Again the Magic and a great story. I LOVED it and though each book can be read as standalone, you’ll see the characters in the prequel in the next books. 🙂

  2. Ah, Lunar Chronicles ❤ True story: my colleagues kept catching me at work with a stupid grin on my face whenver I had just read a Thorne/Cress scene in Winter.

    1. Hahaha… You mean that scene after Thorne mistook a Lunar wearing a glamour as Cress… If it is.. OMG!!! I feel so giddy right now. hahaha.
I remember having a hangover for a month after reading the books last year. Then I read Stalking Jack the Ripper Series, and read about Thomas Cresswell who reminds me so much of Carswell Thorne… Have you read it too?

      1. Probably, though I think there was more than one time! Have to confess I never got into Stalking Jack the Ripper but I think that’s partly because I was in a reading slump at the time and under other circumstances I would have been able to enjoy it more. 😦

        1. hehe… Thorne and Cress are just so adorable. And it’s okay, we can’t like the same books everytime but I must agree that slump can affect our opinions on books. 🙂 🙂 Even so, I’m glad you liked Thorne. 🙂

  3. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite Austen book, although I listen to the audiobook. I have to rewatch the movie and the mini series. Cinder was craycray! I don’t know if I’d reread it.
