My 2021 Netgalley TBR – UPDATE

Hi Blisses,

This is the first update for a reading challenge that I will be posting this week, though please don’t expect my updates to be good, they’re really underwhelming. LOL. I posted five reading challenges that I’m joining this year and so far I’m failing at each and every one of them. But you know what, I don’t even feel guilty anymore. I mean I join reading challenges to be challenged but I also don’t want to be hard on myself anymore. Reading should be fun and this is supposed to be an outlet for me especially when things in real life get hard, so no, I won’t be hard on myself anymore when it comes to reading.

Anyway, I’m here for my Netgalley TBR update. When the year started, I had around 55 ARCs on Netgalley, all of them from last year. As of writing this update, I have 80 ARCs and out of those ARCs, I’ve only read 8. Yep, 8 books. I really haven’t been reading. 🙂

Below are all the books in my Netgalley shelf. I crossed out the ones I’ve already read and provided the links to my reviews so if you want to check them out, that would be awesome.

Right now, my Netgalley Feedback Ratio is 65%. I know I can reach 100% so I think it’s OK to aim for that before requesting again. Besides I don’t think any publisher would approve me of anything considering my current ratio.

What about you? How’s your Netgalley shelf? Do we have similar books in our lists? What do you do when you get overwhelmed by your ARCs? Let’s chat.

  1. I’m working to get all of the books on my NetGalley shelf read this year. I started off the year with 11 books and I am now down to 9. We don’t have any books in common but I did buy a physical copy of Lore when it was released. You can do it Lili!!

  2. Wow, what an amazing list Lili! I know you can do it, good luck, and happy reading. Also, these books sound so good and a few (read – many) may have found their way on to my own TBR!

  3. You can do it Lili. I hope you are doing better, although it is tough with things the way it is right now. My ratio is only 60% and I want to get it up to 70% by the end of the year, but I need to stop requesting books to do that. 😁📚

  4. You can do it! I’m ashamed to say that my Netgalley ratio is currently 60% but I am working on getting it up. I am on a requesting ban until I improve!

    1. Thank you Louise. You can do it too. 🙂 I’m on a requesting ban as well but for some reason, I now receive emails from publicists saying “since you read this book, you might like this one…” and auto-approve me to that book. I’m weak. Haha. I’m currently on 67%. Hopefully, it changes this month.
