Netgalley Reads Wrap Up

Hi guys,

home_NG_logo

As you all know last week I pushed myself to read Arcs on my Netgalley Shelf and promised that I would have a Wrap Up post by Sunday night. I don’t know what time it is of day where you are but it’s already Monday here in the Philippines and almost noon. In short, I broke my promise. But in my defence, my internet turned crazy last night so I just stopped trying and wait for morning to come. Hehe.

Anyway, I’m proud to say that I’ve gotten 9 books crossed out from my Netgalley shelf since I posted Getting Through My Netgalley Shelf last Monday. For me that was amazing.

Here are the books I’ve Read. Kindly click the titles for my review:

  • Three (3) Mysteries

1. Much Needed Rain
A Crime Thriller that introduces a Body language Expert as the protagonist, helping in solving the brutal murder of his secretary. Promising plot and somehow an okay read.
2. Colors of Immortality
A Fantasy YA novel that brought me to a magical but creepy fantasy world hidden in our real world. Has an amazing villain too.
3. Fall from Grace
A YA Msytery perfect for pre-teens who loved crime novels and Thrillers. I really wished I found a book like this when I was younger since as you all know, this genre is my jam. hehe

  • Four (4) Romance

1. A Time To Be Tender
I didn’t really expect to like this one as much as I did. A very heartwarming love story with great characters.
2. His Sinful Touch
Since I was craving for a Historical Romance and found this on my shelf I gave it a try and didn’t regret it. It’s a bit long when it can be shorten but it was a good read and really enjoyed it.
3. The Sheikh’s Pretend Fiancee and A Sheikh for Christmas
Two short novels from one author. Really fell in love with these short romances. The plot were bit cliched but still enjoyable to read.

  • Two (2) Self-Help Books

Sadly I havene’t written review for these two. Haven’t even updated them yet on Goodreads and on Netgalley. All I can say for now that these books are amazing and really helpful. 🙂

So there you have it guys. Nine books crossed out from my Netgalley Shelf. I’ll soon do this kind of thing before the month ends. 🙂

P.S.

I just spent more than two hours writing this meager post. Why? Darn it, depression is here I’m really not okay right now. I think I’m just gonna sleep (if I can) for a while.

Hope Your Having A Better Day than I do, *Hugs*

  1. Hey 😊 I’m sorry to read you are not doing so well. Depression can be seriously annoying at times. My best friend suffered from it last year and I tried to support as best I could. All I can say is: hang in there. There will be better days to come. Keep surrounding yourself with friends, and people that care about you. It helps. You have a wonderful blog and I think the way that you write your posts is truly amazing 😊 So…you have every reason to be proud of yourself 😊 Take care, and I hope you will feel better soon 😀

    1. Thank you, Michel for the compliments and advice… You’re right, the only right thing to do is HANG IN THERE… 🙂 🙂 Something amazing happened really today. Usually when it hits me, I’d stay for one whole day before I feel okay, but today, it was shorter, I’m already feeling better… So thank God for that.. I am really healing so it’s a good news, 🙂 Thanks for the support.
