Hi Blisses,
I must admit, I have scheduled another post for Day 14 of #Blogmas. But three of my amazing friends have tagged me to do this in three consecutive days, mind you. I’m a little suspicious, of course. LOL. I mean did they simply thought of me? Or they knew I’ve been too naughty this year and they want to expose me. Hahaha…
I was tagged to do this by Whitney @Whitreadslit, Shanah @BionicBookWorm and Stephen @StephenWrites. They’re three of the most amazing people her on blogosphere so if any of you aren’t following them yet… Why not? 🙂 🙂
RULES:
- Tag and link the person who tagged you
- Tag and link me (the creator) if you would be so kind, I love reading your answers – Jenn
- Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done
- Tag another 10 people!
1.) RECEIVED AN ARC AND NOT REVIEWED IT – Not Guilty
—–I always make sure to review all the ARCs I’ve received even though sometimes, my reviews are late.
2.) HAVE LESS THAN 60% FEEDBACK RATING ON NETGALLEY – Not Guilty
—-Currently I’m at 85 % and the only reason I don’t have a 100% rating is because the remaining 15 books in my shelf are all to be published next year. Yay!
3.) RATED A BOOK ON GOODREADS AND PROMISED A FULL REVIEW REVIEW WAS TO COME ON YOUR BLOG AND NEVER DID – Guilty
—-One of my 2018 bookish goals is to review all the books I read. That would be 200 reviews. I failed miserably. hehe
4.) FOLDED DOWN THE PAGE OF A BOOK – Not Guilty
—–People do that?
5.) ACCIDENTALLY SPILLED ON A BOOK – Guilty
—–I’m always eating and drinking something (usually coffee) while reading and I’m the clumsiest of all the clumsiest people on earth. Seriously, even now while I’m doing this post, I’m drinking milk and there’s some on my chin. 😂😂 God I’m so pathetic
6.) DNF’D A BOOK THIS YEAR – Guilty
—–I read “Knitting in the City” Series by Penny Reid and didn’t like it. I stopped and DNF’ed book 3.
7.) BOUGHT A BOOK PURELY BECAUSE IT WAS PRETTY WITH NO INTENTION OF READING IT – Guilty
—–WHAT? I love aesthetic stuffs especially if it’s books. 🙂 🙂 And it’s not that I have no intention of reading them, I’m just too busy right now. LOL!!! #Excuses
8.) READ WHILST YOU WERE MEANT TO BE DOING SOMETHING ELSE (LIKE HOMEWORK) – GUILTY (DEFINITELY GUILTY)
BUT I always tell myself, it’s for research. I’m a writer after all. I need to read to be a better writer guys. 🙂 🙂
9.) SKIM READ A BOOK – Not Guilty
—–Never will I do this. I’ll just DNF or put it down for a while if I’m getting bored or I don’t like the scene I’m reading, but I don’t skim read. I feel like I’ll miss something big if I do. Yeah, I worried even at things like this. Not good for my anxiety. haha
10.) COMPLETELY MISSED YOUR GOODREADS GOAL – Not Guilty
—–OK, right now, my GR says I’ve read only 182. I’m still 18 away from my goal but I have 6 in #CurrentlyReading shelf, 5 I’ve already read. And I haven’t even read anything yet this December. I’m pretty sure I can finish my goal.
11.) BORROWED A BOOK FROM THE LIBRARY AND NOT RETURNED IT – Not Guilty
—–Even if I try, I will never be guilty of this. Why, our libraries here in the Philippines suck. I don’t mean to bad mouth Philippines because I love my country. But it’s the fact. Earlier this year I went to a local library in my town, they’re newest book is Percy Jackson. I swear, my bookshelves are waaaaaaay better. My cousin said so, aloud, when we got inside. It was embarrassing but she was right. I wanted to cry coz it made me really, really sad. When I finally start travelling, maybe I’ll donate my book to them.
12.) BROKE A BOOK BUYING BAN – Not Guilty
—–I’m so proud of myself. I had three separate book buying ban months and I succeeded with flying colors.
13.) STARTED A REVIEW, LEFT IT FOR AGES, THEN FORGOT WHAT THE BOOK WAS ABOUT – Not Guilty
—-It’s because I never start a review if I know I won’t finish it. Starting a blog post, well, that’s another story. haha
14.) WROTE IN A BOOK YOU WERE READING – Guilty
—-Normally I really don’t. But this year, I’ve reread my John Grisham books and I’ve been writing on the pages but juts light pencils. 🙂
15.) FINISHED A BOOK AND NOT ADDED IT TO YOUR GOODREADS – Guilty
—-Let’s see 4 Nora Roberts books, 2 John Grisham, and 3 Stephen King’s. the latter is because I’ll cheat next year. I’ll be having a Stephen King Readathon and I’ll pretend I read these three on 2019. haha.. Just pretend you don’t know this. Ok?
16.) BORROWED A BOOK AND NOT RETURNED IT TO A FRIEND – NOT GUILTY
—-How can I not return anything to a friend when I can’t even borrow from one. Why? I have no friends who read a book. All my reading friends are from online. #MyLifeSucks
17.) DODGED SOMEONE ASKING IF THEY CAN BORROW A BOOK – Guilty
—-Dodging is not exactly what I do, I FRANKLY tell people who want to borrow my book that I don’t lend them. No discussions needed. I’m selfish. Deal with it. 😂😂
18.) BROKE THE SPINE OF SOMEONE ELSE’S BOOK – Not Guilty
—–DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WANT OTHERS UNTO YOU. Hehe. So yeah, I will never do this to others coz I don’t want anyone doing this to my books too.
19.) TOOK THE JACKET OFF A BOOK AND ENDED UP MAKING IT MORE DAMAGED – Guilty
—-Ugh. I read a Stephen King’s book (one of the three I didn’t list on Goodreads) recently and it was a collection of short stories. It was too huge, there was no way I can read it with the jacket on coz I know I’ll end up ruining it. But then I spilled coffee to it – to the book I’m holding and to the jacket on the table.
20.) SAT ON A BOOK ACCIDENTALLY – Guilty
—–I do sit on books. I even have a stack of books held together by two belts and I sit on it. But sitting accidentally on books, open books, I never did that.
FINAL SCORE: 10/20

Hahaha… Don’t worry, it’s just on my John Grisham Collection which all are reread… For me it makes my collection more intimate. I even wrote some verse of poems on some pages… Just so you know, JG is the first ever author I’ve read. I was 8 when I first fall in love with reading and it was his book. 🙂 🙂
