Books I’ll (Probably) Never Read|Tag

Hi Blisses,

Books I'll Probably Never Read. #booktag #Bookblogger

First of all, I wasn’t tagged to do this. I saw this one from Angela over at Hiding Behind Books Blog and asked her if I can consider myself tagged. Knowing how lovely Angela is, I knew she’ll say yes. hehe. Thank you, Angela. If you guys aren’t following her yet, you can do it now. You won’t regret it. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

By the way, I just get back from a long hiatus and it feels like I’m doing this for the first time. Hehe. I even feel like I have nothing to say so I won’t make this long. Let’s start.

A really hyped book youโ€™re not interested in reading.

Zenith by Sasha Alsberg & Lindsay Cummings

This book is hyped with the capital H, which isn’t surprising. I’m an avid fan of Sasha too. In fact, she’s one of the first booktubers I’ve ever followed. But no matter how much I love her, I don’t think I’ll ever read this book. The reviews aren’t just mixed, they’re really bad that I’m now discouraged to even try and give the book a chance. Sorry.

A series you wonโ€™t start / Will not be finishing

I’m sorry to all Sarah J. Maas’ fans but I just decided to not read her books ever. It’s not personal, it’s just that I don’t have the urge to read them. I even have given my copies of some of her books away. I guess I just don’t want to invest my time and emotion in long book series especially if I’m not sure I’ll like them. If she published a standalone, I’ll read it. hehe.

A classic youโ€™re not interested in

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen

To those who are familiar with this book, please correct me if I’m wrong. What I know is that the MC fell in love with her cousin. Knowing that much made me decide not to touch this book ever. I know the timeline of the book explains the romantic plot but I’m sorry, I don’t think I can ever get comfortable with the idea of a cousin as the love interest. Or maybe I can try but I also heard how boring this one is.

A genre you never read

Ooops! I read every genre now. From fiction to nonfiction and everything these two major classification represent.

A book on your shelves youโ€™ll probably never actually read

The Madness of July by James Naughtie

I forgot how I acquired this book but I’m pretty sure I will never read it. I’ve read the description and I think it’s too cliche. I’ve read the similar plot a thousand times now. Exaggeration, but really I’ve read Spy books before that has similar plots. Also the book has 2.76 star-rating on Goodreads and that’s not helping to convince me.

So there you have it guys. Even though, it’s short, I really enjoyed doing this tag. I won’t tag anyone but if you guys want to do this, feel free to do so. Bye.

  1. When Zenith was originally published with like the first 7 chapters I read that and I enjoyed those chapters but ever since the full book has been released I have heard nothing but negative things about it but I still would like to read it one day Iโ€™m just not in any hurry to get to it.
