This is my first Top Ten Tuesday Post. This meme was created by the ladies in The Broke and the Bookish so thank you ladies. Every Tuesday there’s a different prompt that serves as a guide on what to post. And for the last Tuesday of September it’s BOOKS THAT FEATURES CHARACTERS _____________.  I chose characters who reads and not just novels. 🙂 🙂 🙂

So here they are:

  1. Hermione Granger from Harry Potter Series

Duh!!! I think someone will unfollow me if I don’t include the brightest witch of her age in this list. She must be one the most famous characters who reads making her an icon of intelligence. She taught us that reading can be a great power. 🙂

2. Rachel and Henry from Words in Deep Blue

Rachel and Henry are the main protagonists in this amazing book by Cath Crowley. This must be one of the best books of 2017 not only for the Miss Crowley’s artistic writing but most of all the characters. Rachel and Henry who are best friends turn lovers, work in a bookshop owned by Henry’s family. Actually they’re not the only readers in the book since the story showed the power of words on the pages.

3. Celia Bowen and Marco Alisdair from The Night Circus

Miss Erin Morgenstern created two wonderful characters and though I found their Romance somehow lacking, Celia and Marco are true book lovers. There are too few scenes where the weren’t with book/s which is great. 🙂

4. Christine Rose from How to Fall in Love

wp-1506346756527.jpeg

This book by Cecelia Ahern features Christine who works in recruitment and is obsessed with self-help books. Yep, self-help books which she somehow used when she met Adam, who’s clearly needs help. 🙂 Kindly read the book.

5. Eleanor and Park from well Eleanor & Park

Ah these two. I really want to thank Rainbow Rowell for creating these two characters and their love story. One of the sweetest love story, or should I say tale that I’ve read. This is the best…oh wait, I’m supposed to state why they are in this list. Well, they read COMIC BOOKS… Which I must say is due to Park’s influence. Seriously, how sweet are those scenes in the bus…*dreamy sigh*

6. Hazel and Gus from The Fault in our Stars

wp-1506346721855.jpeg

I don’t even have to mention the author’s name. Everyone knows Hazel and Gus. So these two are readers. In fact we all know how Hazel’s favorite book written by that annoying writer (lol) played a big part in their love story. 🙂

7. Matilda Wormwood from Matilda

Roald Dahl created the youngest in this list. Matilda’s story shows trials of a book lover, being misunderstood by many people and even by her family.

8. Liesel Merminger from The Book Thief

wp-1506346717385.jpeg

One of my favorite characters from one of my favorite books written by one of my favorite writers. Markus Zusak portrayed Liesel as a very engaging character who in the story didn’t actually know how to read and then fall in love with books. We saw how she started and get addicted with books to the point she steals them. APPLAUDABLE!!!

9. Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice

wp-1506346742343.jpeg

Hmmmm, who haven’t read of Miss Bennet. The wittiest of them all. Elizabeth was shown as a woman who would rather read than anything else which just adds to her attractiveness stealing Mr. Darcy’s heart. Ugh. I hate Elizabeth..hahaha.

10. Tyrion Lannister from A Song of Ice and Fire Series

wp-1506346726158.jpeg

I love the books, I love the show and I love Tyrion in both. In the shows, I really jotted down most of his lines for they’re usually smart. And why? Because Tyrion Lannister is not Jon Snow. He knows things. Hahaha… And how does he know things? He reads. 🙂 🙂 🙂

P.S. I can’t help but include these other two characters from Game of Thrones:

So there you have it guys… Hope you enjoyed this meager list. And what do you think of these characters?
